Today we celebrated the heart of our program, our people! We built a Mosaic Wall highlighting what each of us brings to the program; our backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our Commitment Wall captured what we’re dedicated to; advocacy, equity, mentorship, and compassionate patient care.

Different backgrounds. Shared purpose.
This is what our residency looks like. 💛

Join us in celebrating Dr. Katragadda! She has recently been honored with the being one of only two residents in our region to present at the Society for Pediatric Research Showcase at the Pediatric Academic Society (PAS) Conference in Boston, MA this April. She will present her abstract “Racial/Ethnic Disparities in the Causes and Timing of Death in a Modern Cohort of Preterm Infants Born at 22-23 Weeks Gestational Age in the United States.” In addition, Dr. Katragadda was awarded the Osteopathic Trainee Award, given annually to an outstanding research presentation by an Osteopathic Student, Resident, or Fellow Trainee!!! We are so proud of your important work investigating racial disparities! Thank you so much for your amazing mentorship Dr. Fredrick! 👏🤩
