One of the greatest gifts of creating this film is the chance to interview people that Kundalini has brought into my life - people I get to learn from, work with, and also call dear friends.

This particular interview was especially close to my heart, as it carried us back to Nepal and into the Indus Valley - the sacred homeland where my Kundalini Yoga lineage is rooted.

Here, we opened a conversation about how women in this region, like so many across the world, continue to live under deep suppression. A land where Goddess wisdom was once revered has long been silenced.

And yet, through the brave and brilliant hearts of women like Sahin and Nasreen, something powerful is stirring once more. Through ancient arts, creativity, and song, they are weaving a path of liberation. This is the same liberation rising across the planet โ€” the return of the ancient feminine, awakening again to restore balance. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ”ฅ

Making this film has been a step by step process for me. Itโ€™s way bigger, rather complex, and the story being told is more profound than I realized starting the film. I thought I was going to tell the story of kundalini and as I started to trace into kundaliniโ€™s history, itโ€™s become so much more.

Every step Iโ€™ve been learning not just about the art of filming, but the art of surrender and trust too. Like any art, itโ€™s hard to see the final result while still adding the brushstrokes. There are moments I think Iโ€™m painting a flower and it changes to a butterfly.

This story is more then the practice of kundalini. Itโ€™s the remembering of feminine wisdom and piecing together the fractures and broken parts of our collective consciousness.

We are getting close to the completion of the filming and then the editing process begins!

Each shape, each color, each grain of earth or flower petal is placed with intention.

The mandala is a reflection of the wholeness we are remembering.

Itโ€™s a map back to the center of ourselves.

The mandala reminds us that healing doesnโ€™t move in straight lines, but in spirals and cycles.
