How cool is this! Most dolphins are born tail first, which makes surfacing for their first breath a bit easier. Still quite a feat, if you ask me, to swim moments after birth!

Shoutout to Kristin at Eco Endeavors for teaching me about dolphin midwives 😍 and answering all my questions about dolphin placentas and ocean nursing. For this midwife, swimmer and beach lover- days can't get much better than this!❤️
