I am in the process of becoming a Peristeam Hydrotherapist and learning even more about how to work with women of all ages, situations, degrees of health, races, etc to create a custom treatment plan for them. Here is a bit about va**nal (yoni) history and uses for now.
This process that is centuries old combines steam, herbs, and relaxation to create a “steam” that transports the medicinal benefits of herbs directly to the va**na and reproductive system. The moist heat provides direct healing to the reproductive system by opening the pores of the va**na to allow amazing absorption into your bloodstream. Vaginal tissue is the most absorbent tissue of the body! A woman would sit over the "steam" for 10-30 minutes at a time. Timing and frequency of yoni steam use is very individual and depends on each woman's unique situation. My custom yoni steams also have flower essences in them for added medicinal benefit for the womb space.
This ancient practice has been practiced through the centuries in many cultures including Mayan, indigenous African peoples, Native American, Asian, and Caribbean cultures. You may also know it by other names such as Womb Therapy, Yoni Steam Bath, Womb Sauna, Vaginal Steaming, and V-Steam. After a yoni steam women report a new sense of youthfulness and well-being. Benefits are numerous and are not limited to the following:
Helps tone the va**nal area after childbirth; helps with recovering after a C-Section and with episiotomy or laceration repair.
Reduces chronic va**nal infections, menopause symptoms and other va**nal related issues.
Assistance with maintaining healthy va**nal odor
Sexual energy increases
Reduces symptoms of PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, pelvic prolapse, hemorrhoids, and ovarian cysts.
Decreases va**nal dryness naturally
More energy, renewed spirits, and sexual vitality
Reduces the cramping, pain, and exhaustion that often comes with having periods
Regulation of menstrual cycles
Increase in fertility
Detoxify the womb by clearing toxic emotions like tension, stagnation, trauma, and stress.
Restores connection to our womb caused by trauma, surgery, birth, abuse, etc.
