Eating healthy always seems to take up more times! The prep work and cutting, etc! This is a pretty obvious tip, but any time I make a salad, I make 3. One to eat and two for later. It’s not much more work and definitely saves you time in the long run! Having a quick grab lunch for those busy days definitely helps keep you on track!
What is your favorite salad ingredient? My go to is arugula, broccoli slaw, peppers, cucumbers and then nuts/seeds and a few craisins or apples.

It’s officially the first Monday of 2021!! The day the real resolutions begin!! 🤣

I’ve definitely let this season of covid get the best of me. Lot of ups and downs. Mood 👇 weight ☝️. I’m ready to turn the page on all of this and get back to taking time for self care and throwing a few more salads 🥗 in and a little less wine 🍷. I’m not going to set hard unobtainable limits on anything. Just more me time, more healthy foods, mindful spending and less social media! for the first day back to school for the kiddos

New Year Thoughts 💭

For me the new year has always brought excitement and the feeling of a clean slate and possibilities. I’m definitely a glass half full kinda gal!

I started this page as a place to bring all things I love together. Homes, Family and Health. This year I am going to be changing it up and hopefully posting more!

As much as I am a positive person, I’m also someone who isn’t afraid to share my failures and faults with my friends and family. Much of true friendships are the compassion and understanding you have for each other through it all. And that is what is missing from social media; leaving us all to feel a little less adequate in some way from others. I’m hoping this year to use this page to be a real portrayal of everyday life, to give people a place to know they are not alone in their ups and downs. To celebrate the small happinesses in their lives and not compare to everyone else. To know that for every happy smiling family picture, there were 15 meltdowns not shown (am I right?!?)
