After an incredible Open House filled with love, fellowship, and community support, the J.P. Moore team closed the evening with a little bowling and bonding.

Day 2 of the J.P. Moore Mortuary & Cremation Services Grand Opening Celebration was a sacred and unforgettable moment for our Tallahassee Chapel.

Yesterday’s Pastoral and Ecumenical Leaders Luncheon was more than a gathering — it was an act of dedication. We paused to give this space back to God, the One who made it all possible. Every wall, every room, every vision connected to this establishment was placed in His hands.

Clergy from across Tallahassee stood together in unity, offering prayer, wisdom, and heartfelt affirmation. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and gratitude. Tears were wiped. Smiles were shared. Hands were lifted. And the foundation of this house was firmly rooted in faith.

This establishment represents more than a business. It represents compassion. It represents dignity. It represents our unwavering commitment to serve families with excellence during their most vulnerable moments.

From her sunrise on September 16, 1955, to her sunset on February 7, 2026, Sister Linda lived with grace, faith, strength, and unwavering love. She was a mother, a servant, a friend, and a steady presence in her community — and her legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.
