Please take a moment and read this. Yes we use harm reduction for the person in active addiction hoping to save their life one more time. But it’s for the elderly who forgot they already took their prescription pain meds and took them again, it’s for the child who some how ended up in the medicine cabinet and more! Don’t think when we say Narcan can save your life, it’s just substance use disorder.
