I decided to make a change for myself because I wasn't enjoying medicine anymore. Too many things were getting between me and the people who trust me with their care. This is my opportunity to better connect with those who honor me by calling me their doctor. I want to build this practice with help from my community and those who often feel shamed in the medical setting: those struggling with substance use and the LGBTQ community.
