We would like to welcome our new Nurse Practitioner.😊

Kristi is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She has been a RN since 2004 working in a large array of nursing specialties to include adult intensive care, pediatric and adult urgent and primary care, sexual assault and forensic nursing, as well as crisis and emergency room nursing. She is looking forward to caring for your children at Madison Valley Pediatrics starting June of 2022.

In 2004 she graduated from Pikes Peak Community College and earned her RN license. In 2008 she earned a BSN from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Alabama Huntsville with her Masters in Nursing. She is a current member of the Disaster Management Assistance Team (DMAT) as an emergency room RN.

When the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak caused critical needs for healthcare workers, Kristi felt the call to help the people of NYC. She worked as a crisis nurse for a very large and overwhelmed hospital emergency room in the Bronx. She also responded to similar emergency requests in Texas.

Kristi grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan. In 2017, she and her family moved to Madison, AL. Kristi and her husband have been married for almost 20 years and have two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, biking, caring for foster rescue cats as well as her own, and sewing. She is the mother of a nonverbal child on the autism spectrum therefore special needs children, and their parents, hold a special place in her heart.
