This week’s Creator Spotlight feature is

Simon Sinek is an author, motivational speaker, and one of the greatest thinkers in the world. Simon’s purpose is to help individuals find their fundamental reason for existing beyond making profit or achieving a goal. He believes that when people understand their "why," they are better able to connect with others, build trust, and create meaningful change in the world. Through his writing, speaking, and consulting, Simon aims to inspire people to lead with purpose, passion, and empathy, and to build businesses and organizations that prioritize their values and the well-being of others.

His TED Talk “Start With Why”, which explains how all great leaders inspire action by communicating their purpose and values is still one of the most viewed of all time (10M views).

After watching the TED Talk I decided to read the subsequent Start With Why book about a year ago. It completely changed the way I view the world. I now understand how to stay constantly inspired as well as the importance of inspiring those around me. Additionally, from Simon I have also learned many valuable lessons and skills such as an infinite mindset, optimism, and discovering my personal “Why” in life. Simon’s material brings a life-changing perspective. If you could only check out one account that I have posted in this series, this would be my recommendation.

I am built like a sneaky athletic Little League baseball coach.

However, some have asked me what kind of workouts I do. So, here is my split that I have been doing for a little while.

Know that I am not a doctor, trainer, or body builder, so this is surely not the most perfect routine. But it’s what I like to do and it works for me.

Usually I will try to do some combo of agility work and calisthenics such as box jumps, agility ladders, pull-ups, or sprints one day a week as well.

Free for the taking.

Here are some mindset tips!

Tip 1: Get an Accountability Buddy.

It is much easier to stay inspired if you have another person to hold you accountable and share your goals with. Together is better.

Tip 2: Enjoy it!
If you hate your exercises you are most likely not going to stick to it. Health is about consistency. To stay consistent I recommend finding an activity that you genuinely love doing.

Tip 3: Compete With Yourself

The moment you stop comparing yourself to others and competing is when you become way more secure in who you are and more inspired to get better every day. The only competitor in an infinite game is… YOURSELF.
