💚Member Monday 💚
PSW Director of Team-based Care Strategies and Business Development, Kate Hartkopf, and APPE students Annabel Bochat and Ornelle Tientcheu met with the team at Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy in Milwaukee to learn how they support patients with complex medication needs across Wisconsin.

Shilpa Khot hosted a tour and discussion on patient management and medication access strategies that keep care safe and seamless. The PSW team also observed the pharmacy operations manager working in the onsite hazardous compounding area.

Huge thanks to Walgreens Specialty for showing how specialized expertise and strong teamwork improve patient lives every day.

Interdisciplinary care in action 💚
Congratulations to Stacey Warneke, APNP of Reedsburg Area Medical Center, recipient of the 2025 PSW Interdisciplinary Care Partner Award!

Stacey’s partnership with pharmacists is driving better care—advancing collaborative practice agreements, mentoring new clinicians, and co-developing programs that expand access and affordability for patients with diabetes. Her collaboration helped launch patient assistance options, streamline care coordination, and strengthen a truly connected care team.

💚 Member Monday 💚
PSW CEO, Sarah Sorum, visited Lodi Hometown Pharmacy and was reminded what community pharmacy means in rural Wisconsin. Pharmacy Manager, Donna Milne, has shepherded her staff through three pharmacy moves, lives just down the road from her business, and finds joy in caring for her neighbors. The team includes a pair of siblings and longtime staff who have worked side by side for years, reflecting deep commitment and community.

PSW members like Lodi Hometown Pharmacy are more than places to pick up prescriptions - they are trusted access points that keep Wisconsinites healthy.
