A benefit is being formed for our dear friend Casey Piazza. According to the mayor of Waveland, the benefit will be held at the Saint Clare Catholic Church grounds. The date will be set in the next couple of days. We will have a jambalaya cookoff, crawfish, music, and much more! We are looking for food trucks, live bands, and any other businesses that want to jump on board. Let's all come together and make this benefit huge to support Casey and his family in their time of need. In October 2025, Casey was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and devastating form of brain cancer. Casey has devoted his life to serving our country, our county, and the citizens of Waveland. Casey served in the United States Marine Corps and is a deputy with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office as well as an Assistant Fire Chief with the Waveland Fire Department.
