The food sometimes was not what I ordered, but it was always good. The facility is clean, the room was nice, and one thing I really appreciated was that the bathroom was always clean.

“Autumn Lake has been very helpful and pleasant. Everyone is very kind. The therapist has been wonderful to me — they did an excellent job. The food was good and more than I needed.
When I arrived I couldn’t walk, and now after 2 weeks I can walk using the walker and can go home sooner than I thought. I will highly recommend this nursing home to other patients.
One thing I found especially nice is group meetings and you can chat with other patients and make connections, and I really enjoyed that.
I’ve met a lot of nice people and I made friends.

Carolyn R. shared these heartfelt words about her stay, and we are so proud of the progress she made:

“I highly recommend Autumn Lake Healthcare at Madison.
I like all the people here.
They helped me get over my fear of walking and made me feel better.
When I came from group home I couldn’t walk, I kept falling, but after a couple of weeks rehab I feel much better and can walk with the walker.
I like my room, it was cozy and I enjoy spending time with my roommate.
All the staff members were really nice and very helpful.
I will definitely come back.”
