🎰✨ Casino Night Magic with the King Himself! ✨🎰

Last night was one for the history books! Our residents were treated to an unforgettable Casino Night Theme Dinner, featuring none other than their absolute favorite special guest... Elvis Presley! 💃🕺

The evening kicked off with a delicious, Vegas-worthy meal that left everyone raving—from perfectly cooked prime rib to classic shrimp cocktail, buttery mashed potatoes, and rich, decadent desserts. It was a feast fit for royalty—and the King himself! 🍽️👑

And speaking of royalty, Elvis lit up the room with his charisma, serenading many lucky ladies and handing out signature Elvis scarves—each one met with smiles and swoons! 😍

But the magic didn’t stop there... his stunning wife Priscilla Presley made a surprise appearance and even joined Elvis on the dance floor, making the night feel like a scene straight out of the 60s! 💖

And for one very lucky birthday girl, Elvis made her night extra special by singing “(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear” just for her—and gifting her an adorable teddy bear to remember the moment forever. 🎁🐻

From the music to the memories—and every bite in between—it was a night full of joy, dancing, and love. Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special—and long live the King! 🎤👑

We rolled into fun as our residents kicked off Casino Theme Week with an exciting trip to Belterra! Some tried their luck at the slots and tables, while others enjoyed the sights, sounds, and great company. 🎉

Last week, our residents stepped back in time for a special screening of the timeless classic Casablanca — and we did it in true movie theater style!

The top floor dining room was transformed into a cozy cinema, complete with all the must-have concessions: buttery popcorn, full-sized candy bars, and fizzy fountain drinks. 🍫🥤🍿

From the opening credits to the iconic final scene, it was a night filled with nostalgia, laughter, and the kind of shared moments that make our community feel like home.

🎶⚽ Last week, our game of musical kickball took an adorable turn! One of our nursing assistant’s sweet toddler daughter, Amelia, couldn’t resist joining in the fun—and neither could our residents resist her charm! 💕

She jumped right in with the biggest smile, kicking the bright beach ball around like a pro. It was such a heartwarming moment to see our residents light up watching (and playing with!) little Amelia. Sometimes, the best surprises come in tiny, giggling packages. 💛

This week, our talented residents at the Artisan’s Club took their creativity outdoors! Armed with curious eyes and adventurous spirits, they explored nature in search of the perfect leaves and limbs to inspire their next masterpiece. 🍂✨

Back inside, it was time to choose their favorite paint colors and bring their visions to life — transforming natural elements into stunning butterfly art. From bold blues to delicate pastels, each creation was as unique and vibrant as the artists themselves!

There’s something magical about combining the beauty of nature with the power of imagination — and our Artisan’s Club continues to prove that art truly has no limits. 💛

🎨✨ What a fantastic day some of Our Independent Living residents had an outing to Louisville! We visited Flame Run, where we were captivated by the fascinating glassblowing demonstrations and blown away by the stunning artwork in their gallery. Some of us couldn’t resist bringing a piece home from the gift shop! 🛍️

Afterward, we discovered a new favorite lunch spot — Chicken Salad Chick! 🍗🥗 With so many delicious options to choose from, it’s safe to say we’ll be back soon.

Beautiful art, great food, and even better company — what more could we ask for? 💙

🎉 Happy Hour Recap 🎉
This Friday’s Happy Hour was one for the books as we went all-in on fun with our Casino theme — a clever nod to our mission to fill every bed with warmth, care, and connection. 🃏♥️

Guests tried their luck at Blackjack, Roulette, Punch Out, and the crowd favorite: our Human Slot Machine – which brought smiles, laughter, and more than a few “jackpots!” 🎰✨

This week, our Independent Living residents took a sweet trip to Schimpff’s Confectionery in Jeffersonville, IN! We browsed Indiana history, watched a live hard candy-making demo, and enjoyed a delicious lunch together. The shop was filled with nostalgia, laughter, and the smell of fresh sweets. Everyone left with smiles and bags full of goodies! Another memorable day of fun and friendship at River Terrace.

🌮🍹 Lunchtime Fiesta! 🎉👒

Our Assisted Living residents had a fabulous outing to their favorite local spot — Mi Viejo! They enjoyed a delicious lunch filled with mouthwatering food, refreshing margaritas, and of course, tons of laughter. 😄

The highlight? Trying on festive sombreros and soaking up the fun atmosphere! 💃

What a fun and flavorful day in New Albany! 🎨✨ Some of our independent living residents took a trip to the Cultural Arts Center, where we admired a variety of innovative and inspiring exhibits. After soaking up the creativity, we headed to Boomtown Kitchen for a mouthwatering fried fish lunch — and topped it off with incredible banana pudding ice cream and amazing milkshakes! 🍽️🍦💛

Great art, great food, and even better company!
