For a lot of folks out there, the holidays are a difficult time full of reminders of loss and the increasing economic and social uncertainties surrounding us. Unfortunately, we tend to think of the holidays as a time to forget our worries and put on a happy face. But we want to encourage folks to have those difficult conversations around the dinner table tonight and not shy away from the heavy topics that are weighing on all of us this year. Community Pharmacy will be closing at 2pm and Community Wellness Shop will be closing at 4 pm on Wednesday, December 24th for the holiday. Both of our stores will remained closed on Thursday, December 25th and reopen for our normal business hours on Friday, December 26th.

Both of our stores will be closing early (likely 4pm) next week for New Years Eve and remain closed on New Years Day, we will reopen Friday, January 2nd for our normal business hours!

We’re hiring for a part-time Pharmacy Technician! This position is perfect for pharmacy students looking for a flexible schedule in a unique environment! Number of Hours: 20+/week

Salary: $15.50/hour

Benefits: Employee discount

Qualifications:
No previous pharmacy experience required
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work on a team
Attention to detail

Responsibilities:
Assist patients in picking up their prescriptions
Process new prescriptions/refills
Fill prescriptions
Ensure the accuracy of a cash register
Perform opening and closing procedures
Assist in delivering medications to patients’ homes
Maintain the overall appearance/cleanliness of the pharmacy
