Today was the clients Halloween party! Food, fun, music, laughs and conversation! Everyone had a good time. Congratulations to the skeleton and witch on winning first and second place in the costume contest.

Thank you to everyone that came to our trunk or treat! The clients enjoyed seeing all of the kids in their Halloween costumes and passing out candy. Twizted Eggroll was here and Megan from Traditions Hospice joined us to pass out donuts and apple cider.

What a beautiful day it was today. Some of the clients were able to enjoy a trip to Deer Park in Pymatuning for a picnic lunch and then walk through the grounds to see the animals. It was a special treat to be able to pet some of them! Everybody had fun!

Lantern of Madison and Lantern of Saybrook will be at the Ashtabula County Fair on 8/6 and 8/9. We are an Assisted Living facility that specializes in Alzheimer and Dementia care. Stop out and see us! We will have applications on hand and offering interviews on the spot. 🙂

On Thursday, the clients got to enjoy making Strawberry Moon Pie Shortcake. As always, the best part of cooking group was getting to eat what they had made. We would like to thank Miranda from Care Tenders, Hospice for providing the ingredients and assisting us with the activity. The clients had fun making their shortcake. They enjoyed the opportunity to speak with Miranda, their friends, and eat their strawberry shortcake.
