We are honored to welcome Dr. Bronner's CEO and team to Canaan Palestine.
For over 20 years, Dr. Bronner’s has supported Palestinian olive farmers through its sourcing of Fair Trade and ROC Organic olive oil from Canaan.

At a time when farmers are under siege, with many being barred from their own farms, the Dr. Bronner’s team’s visit demonstrated a strong sense of solidarity with Palestinian farmers.

During the visit, the team spent time with farming families, visited land affected by Israeli occupation, and planted olive trees alongside farmers through Canaan’s Tree for Life program, to which Dr. Bronner’s contributed generously this planting season.

This 20-year milestone visit marked a renewed commitment to the long-term partnership between Canaan Palestine and Dr. Bronner’s in empowering Palestinian farmers to sustain their livelihoods and the heritage olive farms they steward.

We call it Tree for Life because an olive tree’s life is sprouted in support of many lives.

Planting an olive tree is not only agriculture. It is a web of relations. It ties land to people’s souls and bodies through the exchange of labor and food. It nourishes families and builds hopes and aspirations. One tree can touch the lives of so many, now and for generations to come.

Planting a tree is an act of longevity. It asserts presence, builds bonds, and creates commitments and responsibilities.

Through our Tree for Life program, people who choose to take part in this activity see their support for planting a tree become part of an existing cycle of love and care that has sustained the Land of Canaan for generations.
