The Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) will be holding an advanced course exploring retina as an ex vivo model system for ophthalmology, neuroscience, pharmacology, and translational research from June 8-12th in Kuopio, Finland. The course, which will feature MERI member Raunak Sinha as one of its speakers, will give participants experience with organotypic retinal cultures and the know-how to apply them in disease modeling, drug testing, gene therapy, and neuroscience research.
