Meet Kelsey, one of our Opticians at the Brandon location. Every day, she helps patients with all aspects of eyeglasses such as repairing, adjusting, and fitting patients for that perfect look. Kelsey loves building connections with her patients and she loves being there for them. She is continuing to grow her career by working toward her Paraoptometric certification. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her 3 kids. She also is pursuing her dream by taking a welding class. Meet Kelsey, one of our dedicated Opticians at Professional Eyecare Associates! She’s been part of our team in Brandon for nine months and brings four years of optical experience with her.

Every day, Kelsey helps patients by fitting, adjusting, and repairing glasses, and she loves seeing the smiles when someone puts on a new pair. “Seeing patients excited to receive their new glasses is one of my favorite parts of the job,” she says.

Her favorite thing about being an Optician is the people. Whether she’s repairing a frame or helping someone choose their very first pair of glasses, Kelsey enjoys building real connections. “Each patient has a different personality—it’s so fun to get to know them and create those friendships.”

One moment that stands out for her was when a patient came in after visiting several other places for a glasses adjustment without relief. Kelsey was able to adjust her glasses so they fit comfortably. “The next day, she called to thank me and said we’d always have her business. That reminded me why I love what I do.”

Outside of work, Kelsey loves spending time with her three kids and is even pursuing a dream of learning welding. She’s also working toward her certification this November to continue growing in her career.
