Your breasts will also change from one pregnancy to another. As for assistance from a lactation specialist. And, even more importantly, listen to your body! For gestational carriers who plan to pump for longer periods of time, a wireless wearable pump is invaluable! You can be out and about and not tethered to a machine with an electrical cord or stuck in your car! There are several different brands. One of our surrogates swears by the Freestyle Hands-Free Breast Pump by Medela. It sells for about $175.

Pumping is a labor of love. There is no reasonable compensation you could receive that would equate to the milk, sweat, and tears you will give. However, the more you put in, the more it really means something when you succeed.
This year's update is all about advanced tips for long term exclusive pumping. You’re gonna spend A LOT of time pumping. A years worth of milk is over 10,000 ounces and in my case 1000+ hours with the pump running. It’s even more time bagging and dealing with dishes. So now that we agree how much work this is, how do you minimize as much as possible?
