A dream becomes reality...

After graduating from a traditional university and obtaining a degree in Business Management, Suzette Beaumont felt it was important to also have a skill trade. Having suffered from skin afflictions as a child, Beaumont was always intrigued about skin care. With a passion that started at such an early age, she began to research local schools that trained students in esthetics.

Upon becoming a licensed esthetician, Beaumont was encouraged by her very first instructor to move forward and complete the instructor’s training, which she did. Facials became her passion, but logic drove the passion. Clients she serviced were so impressed with her work the vast knowledge on facials and treatments she provided them at each service appointment. Soon, her work began making major shifts and she began to operate outside the box of standard facial procedures. She quickly learned that a steamer and a facial bed was for the most part the only equipment she needed. She began laying out processes of what certain techniques should feel like, and her clients responded with “ooh’s and aah’s”. It was at that moment that she knew she was on to a great thing. The more they liked what she did, the more she practiced to perfect her craft. She paid attention to each client’s skin and how it responded to her skincare techniques. From there, she began to learn what the clients ate as well as daily activities as those activities play a great factor in the overall health of an individual’s skin.

Suzette fantasized about the day she would have a place to call her own. A place for both physical and mental rejuvenation. So, she began to write out her goals and business plan. By 2012 she determined she could provide a small version of a piece of the paradise she experienced in the Caribbean to those living in the US.

She obtained a 300 sq. ft. space in April of 2013 and began to offer facials and body treatments utilizing the holistic principals she learned through advanced training. By November of 2013, she expanded her facilities to include 600 sq. ft. as well as added more options on her menu, and by August of 2018, Belle Skin Care International moved to a 1,250 square foot facility in Madison, AL and has served well over 350 customers.
