Meet Heidi (Video coming soon!)
Heidi Linda River is a Registered Nurse, volunteer Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, and American Red Cross CPR Instructor. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and has worked as a nurse in clinics and hospitals for almost 20 years. Heidi now practices full time as the owner of River of Life Therapeutics.
While well versed and confident in Western medical care, Heidi has always felt health care would greatly improve overall if practitioners would be more open to utilizing all knowledge bases.
In 2009, Heidi began a practice with alternative treatment for allergies and sensitivities via a treatment system called Advanced Allergy Therapeutics.
Since that time, she has expanded her practice to include other modalities of complementary and alternative treatments for a wide variety of health issues.
Heidi is the only trained and licensed practitioner in Wisconsin for Advanced Allergy therapeutics.
She is trained and certified in the use of the Biolight Technologies PTL II Low Level Light Laser and Qi5 Bioenergetics Body Scan and Balance System with pulsed laser therapy.
In addition, Heidi is a trained Neurofeedback Technician. She and works closely with the Madison Brain Center, with whom she shares clinic space, to enhance client choices and the efficacy of treatment for a wide variety of physical, environmental, and emotional disorders.
Heidi's practice is based upon her belief that there is - at this time - no one modality of treatment that is completely effective for every issue for every person. We must work with the whole person, not just parts. Heidi works closely with each client to identify achievable individual health and wellness goals and to formulate therapeutic plans to reach those goals.
