Today, we celebrate something truly meaningful.

We are proud to recognize three current residents of The Archway Recovery Residences who have completed all Twelve Steps and have been given the go-ahead to sponsor others in recovery.

This is not a title.
It’s not a badge.
It’s a responsibility.

Sponsorship represents lived integrity, accountability, humility, and a willingness to give away what was freely given. It reflects consistent action, not perfection—and a deep commitment to walking alongside others with honesty and compassion.

At The Archway, recovery is not just about staying sober.

Today, we pause to reflect on the extraordinary year of growth, healing, and community we’ve experienced together. At The Archway, gratitude is more than a holiday tradition—it’s a daily practice that strengthens our recovery, our accountability, and our sense of belonging.

We are grateful for:

Our residents—men who show up every day willing to grow, to be accountable, and to build new lives in recovery. Your resilience inspires everything we do.

Our staff and partners—those who work tirelessly to create a safe, therapeutic, Level 3 environment rooted in structure, compassion, and consistency.

Our community—from local treatment centers and referral partners to the organizations we serve alongside. Your trust and support help us carry out our mission in North Alabama.

The privilege of witnessing transformation—watching men rebuild their confidence, restore their families, show up for each other, and step into their potential.

This year, The Archway has taken incredible steps forward. We’ve grown our community, strengthened our programming, and expanded the opportunities available to the men we serve. None of this would be possible without the commitment of every resident, every family member, every partner, and everyone who believes in second chances.

Our Program Director helped organize a wonderful event for a local 12 step meeting and the turnout eclipsed everything we could have hoped for!! We had several other Recovery residences show up in support and THIS is what COLLABORATION and COMMUNITY can do! We are so proud of the relationships we share and serve here in Madison County!

As we pass the threshold of nine months since opening our doors, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible trust and support we’ve received from the clinicians, treatment teams, and recovery support professionals who believe in what we do.

Because of your partnership and shared commitment to recovery, The Archway Recovery Residences has had the privilege of serving 30 men…each taking courageous steps toward a new way of life. Watching them grow, heal, and build new foundations in sobriety has been nothing short of inspiring.

We have worked hard alongside our residents…supporting them, providing access to resources, transportation, and education; celebrating their successes, sharing in their laughter, and standing with them through their struggles and misperceived failures.

THERE IS NO GREATER HONOR.

Today our Program Director had the great fortune to tour Magnolia Ranch and Genesis Detox with the incomparable Kim Lamar!! What an incredible facility with a phenomenal mission! So grateful for their time and the effort they put in to serving our community!

It’s been an incredibly busy week!!
First the Wnd Addiction Walk here in Huntsville and then the End Addiction Walk in Rainsville and Recovery Month beginning tomorrow! (It may or may not be our Program Directors birthday)😂😂

The Archway did a follow-up tour yesterday at Six Flags on the hottest day of the year so far 😂😂😂 We were finally able to ride the Superman and it was an amazing time shared by all!!! Proof positive that getting into recovery does not mean we are going to miss out on having fun. It’s really the opposite…now we get to remember what it’s actually like to have a great time 😂😂😂 a life worth living is a life worth sharing
