"The Foundation's staff truly serve as a beacon of hope for all Black women who deserve wellness in every form—livelihood, love, and fellowship. This is why I give."

As our campaign continues, we are motivated by powerful words like these from supporters who believe deeply in our mission. Their generosity strengthens our ability to protect, uplift, and transform the health and wellness of Black women and families every day.

If this resonates with you, we invite you to join them in supporting Black women’s health today.

What a beautiful close to our 2025 Project Live Well season!

Thank you to all our students for showing up for yourselves, and for each other this year. We prioritized our health, moved together as community, explored new fitness classes and welcomed new instructors!

THIS is what it looks like to commit to our wellness journey with joy, intention and collective strength! Let's continue this energy through the end of the year as we carry these lessons with us daily.

Our season of giving is here—and so is one of our most important calls to action yet.

This year, our Community Health Empowerment work supported 533 women and families with the essential resources, including:
• 314 Women connected to trusted community support
• 127 Mothers secured safe housing
• 45 Women accessed vital mental health services
• 47 Families received food and nutrition support

But the need keeps growing. More mothers than ever are reaching out for help with basic needs—and they are counting on us.

At the same time, we are preparing for an unexpected and deeply disruptive move of our Black Women’s Wellness Center, the home where we build community and care, and make a lasting impact.

Black women are counting on us—and we are counting on YOU.

In October, our We Wear Pink Campaign spotlighted the stories of survivors, thrivers, and champions in our community—individuals and organizations working to advance Black women’s breast health outcomes.

This campaign was not just about raising awareness—it was about amplifying trusted community voices and sharing accessible, culturally relevant information and resources to help women take charge of their health.

We closed out the month with a powerful recorded conversation where we discussed what Black women must know about early detection, self-advocacy, and saving our own lives. Don’t miss this important dialogue - click below to listen now!

We Wear Pink for Fawn Celley, a 2-year breast cancer survivor who reminds us that "early detection really is key!"

As a WERQ dance fitness instructor, Fawn uses movement as medicine. Her story is a powerful reminder of the importance of age-appropriate screenings based on your personal risk factors, and getting comfortable with regular self-beast exams.

Today, we celebrate the passion, perseverance and power that Fawn exudes in everything she does! Let's keep moving and thriving together!
