I was told by a person that I needed more schooling because I made committ that COVID-19 is on the rise. At 400-500 people continue to die each day. No it’s not thousands or millions as before, but it’s still very relevant. Yes, as a healthcare worker I’m more exposed than most people , but let’s use common sense there are some healthcare care workers that don’t wash their hands, or even take the time to clean their stethoscopes before seeing another patient. Now that’s a scare tactic and believe me it’s more diseases out there worst than COVID. Recently there was a entire nursing home infected and I took care of most of those patients. They didn’t have fevers, or a loss of smell. But they had neurological symptoms that most would chaulk up as just a UTI or pneumonia. Guess what the cause was COVID. I do what I do and I expose myself to a lot of things. And I have family too. So if 1 person dies of COVID ITS STILL A PROBLEM. If u don’t walk in my shoes and your not on the front line or epidemiologist please don’t have the audacity to tell me I need more schooling. I read everyday and implement effective care based on evidence not emotions. By the way I’m to those who had a problem with the post I’m watching football and a commercial just came on by Pfizer saying please don’t forget to get your boosters. Hmmmm they need more education too. I take pride in what I do the post wasn’t a scare tactic it was prevention tactic
