In this Week 3 reflection, we explore equanimity — the steady, balanced quality of heart that allows us to remain present without becoming overwhelmed.
After practicing mindfulness, insight, loving-kindness, and compassion in the first two weeks of February’s Mindful Flow journey, we now turn toward balance. Equanimity does not mean indifference or withdrawal. It means learning how to care deeply while also recognizing what is not ours to control.
In times of uncertainty, it is easy to become reactive, exhausted, or hardened. This talk reflects on how equanimity supports wise response, emotional steadiness, and compassionate engagement without burnout.
