She develops personalized lifestyle plans to reverse type 2 diabetes and other chronic disease. After her dual residency at Johns Hopkins and Sinai Hospital in Baltimore Maryland, she completed Fellowship training in Sports Medicine, Non-Surgical Orthopedics and Interventional Pain Medicine. Her love for "real health" and further training in nutrition landed her in Lifestyle Medicine where she focuses on reversing type 2 diabetes. In her book, Reverse it!, she lays the foundation for reversing this dreaded disease preventing the obscene complications that include heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, blindness and amputations. Dr. Helen uses nutrition and other lifestyle changes to reverse disease. Her motto is "you don't have to sacrifice taste for your health" and she has incorporated delicious cuisine in the reversal of this disease. She learned to cook at the “apron strings” of her late mother where cooking was an everyday way of life, but not a way to life. Prior to completing her medical training, her mother and father, unfortunately, passed away from “diet-exacerbated” illnesses. The loss of her parents and concern for her family inspired Dr. Helen to take all she had learned about medicine and combine it with her unique gifts in the kitchen to help others avoid deadly consequences. Dr. Stoddart learned about the specific benefits of nutrition that improves the health of so many people. She incorporated traditional medicine and testing along with nutrition and other lifestyle changes to reverse type 2 diabetes. Dr. Stoddart's all-inclusive approach and thorough investigation of your individual situation evaluates all aspects of your disease to determine the root cause of it. Though medications may be incorporated in her treatments, the goal is to eliminate as many medications as possible for optimal health. Nutrition and other lifestyle changes play a significant role in promoting and maintaining wellness and good health. Her recipes are inspired and the finest ingredients are used. ✨ A Little Reminder from Me to You

Wellness isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about showing up for yourself—one healthy choice at a time. 💛

Drink that glass of water. Take that walk. Choose the food that nourishes your body. These little steps add up, I promise.

Be kind to yourself. Celebrate progress, not perfection. Your body, your mind, and your spirit will thank you. 🌿

These onions turn simple crostini into a cozy, aromatic holiday bite — rich in antioxidants and bursting with sweet-savory flavor. The slow caramelization unlocks natural sugars from the onions, keeping the dish blood-sugar friendly without added sweeteners. 💚
