🏃 Dash for Down Syndrome – April 25
We are only two weeks away from this family fun event! 🏃‍♂️
Join us at Winnequah Park for a joyful, high-energy celebration of acceptance at our Dash for Down Syndrome! This community event brings families, friends, and supporters together in a powerful public display of inclusion, all while raising critical funds for our life-changing, free programs.

Enjoy a fun-filled day with amazing partners, including Tom’s Coffee, Papa John’s Pizza, Kona Ice (free shaved ice for all!), Donut NV, Zuri’s Furry Friends, Bucky Badger at the Kids Dash, and the Madison Reading Project Book Bus.

Registration for our free adaptive waterski event in Monona (Madison), WI on Friday June 26th, 2026 with the Mad-City Ski Team will be opening THIS SATURDAY (4/11) at 10 am central time. The registration link will be posted here on our main page. In the past, our event has filled up within 24 hours, so be sure to register right away!

The event is open to those with physical and cognitive disabilities ages 6 and up.

Today is Autism Awareness Day, but we celebrate this community all month, every month.

Autism and Down syndrome can co-occur, with approximately 16–18% of individuals with Down syndrome also diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder .

Did you know EVERYONE is welcomed and celebrated at our Playhouse? Group programs, special events and parties are structured in a way that people with any diagnosis can feel supported and thrive with their peers.
