🌋🧪 Tinkering Thursday: Bubbly Fizzy Volcano Slime!

Combine slime and fizzy volcano reactions for a super fun sensory science activity!

You’ll need:

Homemade or store-bought slime

Baking soda

Vinegar

Food coloring (optional)

How to do it:

Shape the slime like a volcano.

Sprinkle baking soda on top.

Pour vinegar over it and watch it fizz and bubble!



Benefits by age:
👶 Toddlers: sensory exploration & cause/effect (with help)
🧒 Preschoolers: fine motor skills & experimenting with reactions

🧪🐘 Tinkering Thursday: Elephant Toothpaste!

Create a foamy explosion that looks like toothpaste fit for an elephant!

You’ll need:

Hydrogen peroxide (3%)

Dry yeast + warm water (activator)

Dish soap

Food coloring (optional)

A tall container

How to do it:

Mix yeast and warm water; let it activate for 5 minutes.

In a container, combine hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, and food coloring.

Pour the yeast mixture into the container and watch the foam erupt!
