Mississippi Breastfeeding Medicine Clinic, PLLC Rebecca Saenz, MD, IBCLC, FABM was the only Breastfeeding Medicine physician specialist in the state of Mississippi. She retired in July 2013.

Dr. Saenz received her MD from the University of MS School of Medicine in 1990, and completed residency training in Family Medicine at the Univ of TN in 1993. She became an IBCLC in 1999, and a Fellow of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine in 2002. Prior to opening this clinic in 2003, she was an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of MS Medical Center, where she also headed

the UMC Breastfeeding Consult Service. New patient appointments take about an hour! We'll want to watch baby feed, in addition to examining both mom's breasts and baby's mouth. Both mom and baby are patients, because we chart our observations of each of you. We do file insurance, and are "in network" with Blue Cross (all) and MS Medicaid.
