MANP is an association devoted entirely on the needs of Nurse Practitioners in the state of Mississippi. We recognize the importance of nurse practitioners in the provision of healthcare in our state and the need to enhance their visibility, legislative clout, and participation in key decision-making roles. We are your voice. And collectively, with one voice, we can reach our goals and protect the progress we make. MANP is also the only nurse practitioner association in the country with its own training facility. Our Legacy Partnership with Global Training Institute allows us to provide advance practice nurses with state-of-the-art training not available anywhere else in the state. MANP is an affiliate of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is your specialty association. We provide advocacy for nurse practitioners with the legislature, Congress, other policymakers and with other healthcare associations both in the state and nationally. We also provide educational conferences and networking opportunities, and representation on boards and commissions. MANP has lobbyists in Jackson who are constantly lobbying for the needs and goals of the MS nurse practitioner.

Nurse Practitioner opportunity available
Location: Gulf Coast Area

Setting: Gulf Coast Assisted Living and or Nursing Home

Additional Job Description: Searching for NP on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The position is part-time to start, but it could easily be transitioned into full-time. The provider will be working in Nursing Homes or Assisted Living Facilities on the Gulf Coast. Applicants should be self-motivated and have experience working in a clinical or hospital setting. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and have established administrative systems. NP experience is required. Must have completed monitored practice hours required by the MS Board of Nursing. Must have appropriate licensure and certification. DEA is preferred.

Compensation: Comensurate with experience; Compensation is above industry standards.
