At Bloom Pediatrics, we care for children from infancy through adolescence with compassion and dedication. Hello!

We provide comprehensive wellness, preventative, and acute care, helping kids grow strong and thrive at every stage. My name is Whitney Williams, and I am proud to call Georgia home. I’ve lived in Morgan County since 2014 and feel blessed to be part of this community. I graduated from Georgia State University with my BSN in 2009 and began my nursing career at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in the CIRU, later expanding my experience through pediatric home health care for medically complex children. In 2012, I earned my MSN from Georgia State University and became board certified through the PNCB. This launched my journey into outpatient pediatric primary care. I am passionate about supporting families through all stages of childhood. In 2021, I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and continue to advocate strongly for breastfeeding and maternal support. I also hold a special place in my heart for children with special needs and their families, a passion that stems from growing up with a special needs sister. As a former foster parent and now adoptive mom, I understand firsthand the unique challenges foster families face and pride myself on advocating for the physical, mental and emotional well-being of foster children and families. In my practice, I am devoted to evidence-based care, including vaccine education and antibiotic stewardship, to ensure the best outcomes for children. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children, cheering on the Bulldogs, traveling, and gardening. I am so grateful for the opportunity to care for the children of this community and look forward to meeting you!

Thanks so much to our Bloom families! My staff reported nothing but positive feedback from interactions with our families regarding our closure this week. I am so thankful. Because of your patience, my children got their mom for a week 🩷💙🩷. This vacation was one we planned for well over a year. I was so thankful to be able to spend valuable time with my family. Enjoy a couple pics of our adventure this week and I’m looking forward to getting back into the office on Monday!

Our office will be closed to patient visits from February 13–20. During this time, we will remain available by phone for appointment scheduling and medical records requests.

For any immediate sick-visit needs, please utilize your local urgent care options.

This closure is for a preplanned trip that was scheduled prior to opening Bloom. Starting Bloom has been a huge undertaking and has required many sacrifices—not only for me, but for my family as well. I truly appreciate your understanding as we take this brief time to reconnect and be with family. I look forward to returning refreshed and ready to continue serving our families with excellence.

I will remain on call for urgent matters, and our office will remain open by phone for scheduling, medical records, and general questions.

When your staff is extra, and you want to just take care of them :) Maybe now our girls won't feel the need to "travel the office" with all their colored pens. Apparently black pens just won't cut it here, taking care of cute patients requires cute writing utensils :)
