Alicia Wright Movements for Mind and Body Alicia Wright Yoga When life is challenging it’s easy to become overwhelmed, disconnected from our bodies, and separate from our natural state of ease.

Like so many people who strive to successfully combine work, family, friends, and many other obligations and adventures, I often find myself in an uncomfortable state of mental distraction, emotional stress, and physical tension. Yoga and meditation give me an opportunity to re-enter my body and mind and connect to my innate strength and wisdom. These practices allow me to come back to my true sel

In a simple way, I hope by sharing what I have learned I can help people explore who they are. My goal is to share with my students simple-to-use tools that cultivate peace of mind and empower them to be strong, pain free, and calm during their busy lives. I create a safe, low-pressure atmosphere where students can relax, restore, and find balance. My classes encourage people to rediscover their authentic selves, to trust their innate wisdom, and to reconnect to their inner potential and power. My classes are based on the Alignment Yoga recipe, which explores the movements and flows of our natural strengths and energies. I give simple and clear instructions, and take care to provide options and modifications so that students of all levels of experience and physical abilities can benefit from and enjoy this wonderful practice. Each class is designed to encourage authentic breathing, strengthen core muscles, and calm the mind. It is my goal that you leave class with techniques that allow you to feel mentally focused, physically strong, and emotionally at ease.
