Go Baby Go is an interdisciplinary community outreach program where UW-Madison student and professional volunteers from Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Engineering share their knowledge and collaborate skills to tailor-fit toy ride-on cars for children with mobility impairments. Our Go Baby Go build was a blast!

Thank you to all the families, volunteers, coordinators, and advisors who helped make this event successful. Our chapter customized cars for nine children in the community, along with a community car for Cooperative Educational Service Agency 5.

We greatly enjoyed the build day and getting to meet all of the families and see their smiling faces! 🚗☀️

Our 2024 build was a huge success!! We want to thank all of our student volunteers, coordinators, faculty, and our families that made this day possible!

It was so fun to watch the kiddos figure out how to drive their cars before taking them home! We can’t wait until next year’s build!🚗

Our Story

Go Baby Go is an interdisciplinary community outreach program where UW-Madison student and professional volunteers from Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Engineering share their knowledge and collaborate skills to tailor-fit toy ride-on cars for children with mobility impairments. We provide every car at no cost to the family thanks to our friends at the American Family Children's Hospital and Endres Manufacturing. We organize large build days where we bring in several children with their families for a day of creation. We set these dates in the fall and typically have 1-2 build dates in a year. If you would like to refer a child to the Go Baby Go program, please click the "Sign Up" button above to fill out the survey.
