-Orange: Twice per month beginning Tuesday, August 26 from 3pm to 4pm

🚸 BACK TO SCHOOL TRAFFIC SAFETY REMINDER 🚸

School is back in session tomorrow! Let’s work together to keep our children safe:

✅ Slow down – Watch for reduced speed limits in school zones.
✅ Stop for school buses – When red lights are flashing and the stop arm is out, ALL traffic must stop (unless on a divided highway).
✅ Watch for pedestrians – Kids can be unpredictable. Stay alert at crosswalks and near schools.
✅ Avoid distractions – No texting or calling while driving.
✅ Plan ahead – Give yourself extra time during the morning and afternoon rush.

🚓 Our deputies will be monitoring school zones to help keep everyone safe.

When cost isn’t a barrier, people are more likely to choose fresh food. 🌽🍓

Farmers markets across Virginia are helping make fresh food more affordable through food access programs like Virginia Fresh Match, which enables SNAP and SUN Bucks customers to double their benefits when they spend them on fruits and vegetables at participating markets and stores. This fuels both families and farmers by increasing access to nutritious foods and supporting the local agriculture economy.
