Hey everyone! After coming in today and seeing the condition of our parking lot, ramp and stairs we will be opening late for the remainder of the week for phone calls only. We will be here 10am to 12pm. PLEASE do not attempt to come into the clinic.

We hope everyone stays safe during this winter storm!! Madison Free Clinic will be closed Monday, January 26th. We will update daily with any further closings. As always, you can leave us a message at the office or you can text or call the clinic cellphone at 540-705-4095. We will get back to you as soon as we can. In the event of an emergency PLEASE call 911.

❄🥶🌨This is NOT fear mongering or hype folks... This is science and facts so please take this information seriously and prepare accordingly🌨🥶❄

The winter storm arriving this weekend in many parts of the Commonwealth will be a level 4 out of 5 winter storm -- per NWS ratings. (see map)

Although snow totals will not rival the all-time greats for most localities, the perilous combination of snow, ice and bitter cold before, during and after the storm means it is likely to have serious and prolonged effects. The prospect of power outages in areas that receive heavy freezing rain (especially south and central Virginia) amid this cold weather could turn into a dangerous, life-threatening situation.

All of the snow and ice will accumulate as it falls and, with freezing temperatures lingering, it may not melt for a week or more. The resulting conglomeration of frozen precipitation will be difficult to remove, meaning it will take much longer than normal for the region to recover.

Old face, new postion!

Join us in welcoming Christina Hill as the Executive Director at the Madison Free Clinic. She has been a long-time staff member, serving in a variety of roles before stepping up as the clinic's leader. In her time at the clinic, she has shown an unwavering commitment to patient care and organizational growth. "Whether I'm drawing blood or simply sitting down to listen, I always feel like I'm among friends. That connection is what drives my dedication to this clinic and I'm incredibly excited to keep our clinic growing," she shares.
