From greetings at check-in to conversations in exam rooms, we’ve heard 28 different languages spoken by the patients who walk through our doors. That diversity is something we celebrate. Through dedicated translation services, we work to ensure clear communication and compassionate care for every individual we serve. Different languages. Shared humanity. One commitment to quality care.

Every patient story is a meaningful moment and together, those moments create lasting impact.

We’re proud to provide specialty care to uninsured members of our community, ensuring access to the care they deserve. But this mission is only possible because of dedicated medical professionals who give their time and expertise.

We’re currently seeking medical professionals and specialty physicians to join us as volunteers. If you’re looking to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients who need it most, we’d love to connect. To volunteer, contact Specialist@scfcwi.org or call (608)827-2308 today!

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 25 years of commitment and care for uninsured members of our community. Our clinic was founded in 2001 by three local specialty physicians who recognized the health disparities between patients with insurance and those without—and took action to make a difference.

Today we celebrate our founders and all those who have helped turn this mission into reality. Together, we continue shaping the future of compassionate care—more resilient, more impactful, and more essential than ever.

You are the change that makes us possible and keeps healthcare accessible for all. This year, as we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we’ve provided over 1,600 patient visits and offered care across 24 different specialties, all while remaining 100% donor-funded.

A special thank you to our dedicated doctors, generous donors, and to you. Because of your support, 2025 has been another successful year.

👀Here's a behind-the-scenes look at our eye room in honor of this month! The eye care provided here is all thanks to generous donors, corporate partners, and private foundations who enable us to acquire equipment and resources to provide an exceptional care experience in a safe, private, and comfortable environment! And, of course, we couldn't do it without our dedicated volunteers.

BSP Free Clinic

The BSP Free Clinic is the only clinic in our area dedicated to providing quality, specialty health care by volunteer professionals to adults without insurance. Our volunteer physicians and ancillary practitioners provide direct health care services in a variety of medical specialties such as cardiology, gynecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, rheumatology, endocrinology, nephrology, etc. These services aid in the diagnosis and treatment of low-income persons who are uninsured. BSP receives referrals from primary care clinics throughout the state of WI.

Patients must get a referral from a primary care provider to be seen at the BSP Free Clinic. We see patients who have no insurance and who are 250% of the Federal Poverty Level.

The clinic is a 501(c)(3) organization.
