Dr. Kandalaft was honored to participate in Read Aloud, a wonderful local event celebrating the importance of literacy.
The children enjoyed a fun story and, afterward, had the opportunity to explore some of Dr. K’s medical equipment. Several students proudly shared that they have family members who work in healthcare — future healthcare heroes in the making!
We love supporting our community both inside and outside the classroom. 💙

Snow is coming!
Baiti Medical wants to help you stay healthy and safe this winter with a few simple reminders:

1. Hydrate
Cold weather can reduce your thirst response by up to 40%, making dehydration easier than you think. Drink water regularly—even if you don’t feel thirsty.

2. Dress in layers
Cold weather itself doesn’t cause illness, but it can create conditions that allow viruses to spread more easily and may stress your immune system. Stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and protect yourself by dressing in warm, breathable layers.

3. Vaccinate
Stay up to date on recommended winter vaccines, including influenza and COVID, to reduce your risk of severe illness.

4. Listen to your body
Winter activities like shoveling snow can strain your heart and muscles. Warm up first, use proper lifting techniques, and take breaks. Call 911 if you feel chest pain, dizziness, or unusual shortness of breath.

Stay warm, stay safe, and reach out to Baiti Medical if you have concerns this winter ❄️
