Another great armchair travel in the books! Can you guess where we went this month??? Yep, Disney World!!! Afterwards, everyone enjoyed sharing their memories of their own vacations to Disney. We even had 2 couples spend their 50 wedding anniversary at Disney. I think it’s safe to say, Disney holds a special place in a lot of our hearts. Mickey Mouse ice cream and a roller coaster ride to complete our trip. We started and ended our day with exercise. Our newsletter crew was hard at work, be on the lookout for those coming soon. We squeezed bingo in this morning and we’re ending our evening with Friday movie night featuring “Saving Mr. Banks”. Happy Travels and Happy Friday!

We’re blessed to a wonderful support of or community. Thanks you, Hopkins County Madisonville Library for donating goodie bags for our residents and staff. Even after, spending the day taking care of everyone at the health fair, Mrs. Shanna was happy to bring them to The Paragon tonight.

Shannon and Brittany offered more community support with one of our favorite games…Cornhole. Congratulations Roger, on taking 1st place, Brenda and Stephanie tied for 2nd place and Barbara and Elsie tied for 3rd place. Great job everyone and thanks so much ladies. Rockin’ with Tonya rounded out our afternoon.

Out September lunch outing to Oasis was a hit! We were a small group but we had a big time together. We love making memories around the table. Shiver me Timbers!!! “Talk Like a Pirate Day” 2025 at The Paragon was a blimey good time. My matey’s worked together to complete the scavenger hunt, finding priceless gold and jewels along the way. We freshened up on our pirate lingo/jokes while enjoying fish bowls and pirate b***y snacks at the “Sandbar”. Strength training, shopping at the Snack Shack, bingo and book club with Ashley will complete our day. Up next, Friday movie night featuring “Fletch” is on the agenda after dinner.

Today, has been a day full of volunteers. We just happen to know that we have the best of the best!!

Thank you, Mark with HPC for leading our monthly bingo and sing-along. We like when you come for bingo but we LOVE when you come sing some of our favorite hymns.
