This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who fought for our country and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We are so grateful to live in the United States because of their courage and service. 🇺🇸❤️

Because of them, we are able to enjoy special days like today together with friends through bingo, devotional with Mary, and fellowship throughout the day.

We also have a patriotic refreshment table set up for residents, staff, and guests. Please enjoy as we celebrate and remember those who gave so much for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Pack your bags… today our Armchair Travel adventure whisked us away to Savannah for a day full of southern charm, rich history, beautiful sights and fun facts along the way. 🌿🍑

We kicked off our travels with refreshing “mocktails” and wrapped up our trip the sweetest way possible — homemade peach ice cream topped with a freeze-dried peach. Talk about a peach-perfect ending! 🍨

Of course, our travelers also made time for strength training, bingo and leg strengthening because even virtual vacations keep us moving. 💪🎉

Today’s menu includes shrimp boil with corn, potatoes, sausage, fried green tomatoes and cornbread… sounds like a delicious clue, doesn’t it? 🍤🌽

A big shoutout to our amazing dietary staff for preparing this delicious meal for our residents. We appreciate all you do! ❤️

We had a buzzing good time celebrating World Bee Day today at The Paragon! 🐝🍯

A big thank you to Chip, Nikki, and Michael from Mahr Park Arboretum for such a wonderful and educational presentation this morning. Residents loved learning all about bees and even got to sample some delicious honey!

The fun continued with tasty honey-themed snacks including honey pretzels, honey peanuts, and honey Goldfish. Everyone also received their very own honey jar to take home. And of course, we even had our very own “Paragon bees” buzzing around and joining in on the fun today! 🐝💛

Thank you, Brittany with CenterWell Home Health, for leading our Wellness Wednesday and Bob Gray with First Baptist Church for leading devotional this afternoon. We appreciate all you do for us.

Kicking off our first lunch outing of the season with full plates, full hearts, and plenty of laughs around the table! A big thank you to Oasis for being such a gracious host and helping us make sweet memories together. ❤️

Monday Funday is in full swing at The Paragon! ☀️💪

We kicked off the day with strength training, coffee, gospel music, and a wonderful devotional with Jeff Todd from Madisonville Assembly of God. A big thank you to Jeff for filling in and sharing such an uplifting morning with us!

This afternoon, we’re taking a stroll down memory lane during our “Good Ol’ Days” “Summer Days” reminiscing activity, followed by everyone’s favorite… BINGO! Rockin’ with Tonya before wrapping up the evening with crafts and creativity with Sam and sweet baby snuggles with Ms. Evelyn Grace.

From strengthening our bodies to lifting our spirits and sharing lots of laughs in between, it’s been a pretty great Monday at The Paragon!

Today at The Paragon, we’re making Friday extra sweet!

We celebrated National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day with plenty of smiles, worked on our strength training, and enjoyed a prize-filled bingo with Taylor from CareTenders this morning. The fun kept rolling this afternoon with leg strengthening and another round of bingo luck!

Now, we’re ending the day the best way we know how — cozying up for Friday Movie Night!
