We are heartbroken to hear the loss of one of our own. To know Kim was to love her. She kept things lighthearted while taking her job of taking care of patients very seriously. We will miss her. Please keep her family, especially her children and grandchildren in your thoughts and prayers. They were everything to her and we know they are going to miss her so much in the days ahead. 💙

Kimberly Carroll Travis, 68, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation in Madisonville.

She was born on September 23, 1956, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Cora Lee Knox Carroll and Felix Thomas Carroll. She was employed by Rite Aid Pharmacy for over twenty years and retired from Hometown Pharmacy. She enjoyed her yearly Christmas party with the Girls of ’75 and continued a close friendship with all of them. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cris Cooley, infant sister, Cynthia Carroll; and nephew, Mark Mitchell.

Her survivors include her daughters, Hannah (John) Ashby and Amanda (Heath) McCormick; son, Matthew Travis; grandchildren, Jill (Bryce), Aydin, Layne, Maddax, Macy, Dean, Fuller, Tate, and William; nieces, Lizz (Bryan) Questelle and Caty (Tyson) Samples; and nephew, Jayson Cooley.

A visit with friends and family to celebrate Kimberly’s life will be held from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the home of her daughter, Amanda, 320 Cedar Circle, Madisonville, KY. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
