Please join us in spotlighting our Director of Nursing, Kourtney Wright!

Kourtney graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler in August 2025 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began her journey at Madisonville Care Center shortly after graduation as a Charge Nurse. Since then, she has remained a dedicated part of our team, aside from time spent on maternity leave.

Recently, Kourtney stepped into the role of Director of Nursing, and she is already doing an incredible job leading with compassion, dedication, and a true heart for resident care.

Kourtney shares that she loves long-term care because it allows her to follow her patients’ successes and be a part of their journey every step of the way. We are so grateful for the leadership, kindness, and commitment she brings to Madisonville Care Center each day.

Congratulations, Kourtney, on this well-deserved role! We are excited to watch you continue making a difference in the lives of our residents, families, and staff. ❤️
