📚 Double the Impact with our New Wishlist!
📚💛 Help us keep the stories coming!

We’ve been working hard to keep our Story Strolls fresh and fun, and we’d love your help adding more books to the rotation. We’ve moved our wishlist over to Bookshop.org, which means your support goes even further!

When you purchase a book from our list, you are essentially supporting two local endeavors at once:

Our Story Strolls: You help provide new reading adventures that encourage kids to stay active and explore the outdoors.

Story Hollow: By using Bookshop.org, a portion of your purchase specifically supports our very own local bookstore!

Every book helps create more opportunities for families to enjoy "everyday moments" together while stretching their legs.

Thank you for helping us turn our walking trails into community reading adventures! ✨

Every year, the Monroe County Health Council hosts Emma’s Hike as an awareness campaign & fundraiser for our Monroe STOPe program. This is a fun way to support Monroe STOPe, increase your physical activity, and learn more about our STOPe services for survivors!

It's $10 to register, and the challenge is: Walk/Hike/Bike 25 "sponsored" miles in May! (Think Relay for Life!) If you'd rather put a team together, the goal becomes 250 miles collectively in May! We've created templates to use for recruiting teammates and to ask sponsors for $1 per mile hiked.; you can find them on our website near the bottom of the page beneath registration info.

Join us as we raise funds and awareness for survivors of domestic violence in Monroe County. You are not alone, STOPe is here to help! 💜

📍 Sweetwater Partnership Post (Engleman Park)

🤝📖 We love a good partnership—especially when it brings more stories to the community!

While we don’t own the Story Stroll at Engleman Park, we’re proud to partner with the Sweetwater Friends of the Library to share our Story Stroll books 💛

The newest display is Worm Weather—a fun, weather-themed read that’s perfect for a walk outdoors!

If you’re in Sweetwater, be sure to stop by Engleman Park, stretch your legs, and enjoy a story along the way.
