Please come help us celebrate Dana Todd upon her retirement and 27 years of dedicated service to Oak Ridge Senior Living with a special cookout on Thursday, October 16, 2025, noon until 2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge, 750 Dodson Lane. Dana began her career in the newly constructed Oak Ridge Retirement Center in 1998 before a resident ever moved into the building. She has been a dedicated caregiver, cook and Dietary Manager throughout her 27 years of service, not only to our residents but to our families, staff members, visitors, contract workers and anyone else who walks through our doors or whatever of God’s creatures comes onto the property. In 2010, her passion for caregiving and compassion for people lead to a nomination and receipt of the Outstanding Caregiver Award given by what was then know as the Kentucky Assisted Living Facility Association, the governing assisted living association at the time. Dana has also been here not only for the residents, but staff, families and whatever changes Oak Ridge has gone through during this time. She is very much loved by her co-workers and residents past and present. We will miss seeing her and her wonderful cooking especially at the holidays when she would add a little extra love to her recipes. But we wish Dana nothing but the best for her and her upcoming adventures.

Oak Ridge Family and Friends our 14th Annual Emergency Personnel and First Responders Lunch and informational session is scheduled for Thursday, October 23th and we need your help getting the word out. Please share this invitation with all local professional and volunteer Firefighters, Police Officers, Ambulance Service and Other Emergency Personnel. We greatly appreciate their service and your help.
