Hey everyone! This is the official page for our Al-Anon group here in Madras, Oregon! The name of our group is Sagebrush Connections and we’re extremly excited to finally have an Al-Anon group available to the people of our community. We are currently holding meetings every Wednesday at the Madras Christian Church on C. St. Across from the park. The meeting begins at 12:00PM and runs till 1:00PM. In the future, we may decide to hold a group at a different time slot for individuals who can’t make a lunch time meeting. But as of now this is the only meeting time we have available. We look forward to being able to assist and support the people of our community! In today’s world, resources like this are increasingly important for people to have access to. And we are just doing our best to help support people who have a loved one in their lives who is struggling with alcoholism or addiction. This is an anonymous group and we do operate under strict guidelines making it as safe as a place for people to come and get support as we possibly can. If you have someone in you’re life who is suffering from an addiction and you would like to get a little support and guidance on how to best assist that person in overcoming there addictions, this is an amazing opportunity to connect with other people who have lived through, or are currently experiencing the same type of issues. Please help us grow in visibility with our community by sharing and liking our page so we might be able to reach out to the people in our community who may be in need of something like this in their lives. Addiction is an increasingly dire threat to the health and wellbeing of our community and the solution to this threat is connection and support. In order to overcome this challenge we need to be willing to reach out and support each other to ensure a chance at saving peoples lives and families.
