The Lotus is a collective of spiritual practioners, therapists, gardeners, amalgamationists, yoginis, inventors, musicians, experienced healers and community members of all kinds. We are committed to providing space that nurtures caring and a politic of respect, which then l

eads to an environment where healing may happen. Clients direct, educate, and empower both themselves and others. This model of spiritual, social and artistic healing supports both social justice, and the health and well-being of the individual. Through the ethical sharing our stories, art, animals, rest, music, healing arts, play, organic food and body products, therapies and other essential tools, we respect and honor our humanity, our families, our communities and our planet. The Lotus celebrates simple, but artful living. Rest, creation, play, art, music, scents, fire, healing, laughter, yoga, music... all while respecting and paying tribute to the beauty of our planet. The Lotus is a place to stay, a place to rejuvenate the self, and a place to appreciate the beauty of New Mexico. Condolences on the Death of His Holiness Pope Francis
April 21, 2025

Thekchen Chöling, Dharamsala, HP, India - His Holiness the Dalai Lama has written to The Most Reverend Leopoldo Girelli, The Apostolic Nuncio to India to express his sadness on learning that His Holiness Pope Francis has passed away. He wrote that he offered prayers and condolences to his spiritual brothers, sisters and to his followers around the world. “His Holiness Pope Francis dedicated himself to the service of others.” He added, “consistently revealing by his own actions how to live a simple, but meaningful life. The best tribute we can pay to him is to be a warm-hearted person, serving others wherever and in whatever way we can.”

His Holiness closed his letter, “With my prayers.”

A memorial service is being held by the Tibetan community at the Tsuglagkhang, the Main Tibetan Temple, in Dharamsala.
