For the month of August, we are lifting up and giving praise to a local nonprofit. Beauty from Ashes is a local ministry that supports women who have been victims of domestic violence, sex-trafficking, or have lost their way in addiction. The program is a blessing to so many families and aids in rebuilding and fostering relationships. Beauty from Ashes is a 6-month residential recovery center for women. Children are then reconnected with their mothers and supported through the organization. Ladies are assigned a work program that teaches skills and helps them to rebuild their independence and confidence. Beauty from Ashes has and will continue to be a blessing for so many.

If you are feeling led to help, they would love your support. Items needed: toiletries, food items such as snacks, diapers, wipes, baby and children's clothing (various sizes), women's clothing (various sizes). Donations can be dropped off at our Magee location, or Hattiesburg location. We are open Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Bitty ⭐️ She is dependable, hardworking, dedicated, and a light for her coworkers. She is recognized for being prepared for her sessions, going above and beyond for her clients, always making her peers smile!

Sarah ⭐️ You consistently show up with a smile and a positive attitude, ready to give your best in every session. You’re always willing to lend a helping hand, and you take feedback with such grace and professionalism. You’re a natural at what you do, and it shows in everything—from the care you give to the support you offer your team.

Alexis ⭐️ She never waits to be asked; she simply sees what needs to be done and does it, consistently and with care. Her positive attitude uplifts her clients. We are grateful to have her on our team and excited to see her continued growth in this field.

Our staff spotlight awards for July were proudly given to Belle, Brooke, and Meg 💫🩷💙
Well deserved ladies and congratulations!

Belle ⭐️ Her peers recognized her for her ability to implement data and always remaining consistent. Her peers said she approaches every task with a genuine willingness to learn and continuously seeks opportunities to grow! Belle, we are so grateful for you!

Brooke ⭐️ Brooke’s peers said that she “is always positive, always has a smile” and always lifts the mood. They hardly ever hear her complain and when they do it’s because she needs to refuel with caffeine. 😂☕️ (Now I understand where all the energy is coming from 😂😳)

Meg ⭐️ Her peers said that she is such a positive influence, a light, so supportive, respectful to their needs and always knows what to say and how to problem solve. Meg is an extraordinary Lead RBT and I’m so proud of her!

🌟Shining Starz ABA of Hattiesburg is hiring full-time and part-time RBTs.

If you currently do not have an RBT certification, we offer training.
Must love working with children⭐️ Experience in mental health and/or child care preferred.
Must have a heart and passion for teaching new skills⭐️
Must be a team player willing to learn more in the field of ABA (ongoing and continuous training in the field)⭐️

Prerequisites are must be 18 years or older, pass a criminal background check, high school graduate or equivalent, pass competency assessment and RBT exam.

This is a clinician role and passing of a background check, competency assessment, and RBT exam are required.

RBTs work with children in a 1:1 setting teaching new skills and implementing behavioral interventions under the close supervision of a BCBA.
