JoyRide Center is a PATH Intl. certified equine center offering therapeutic riding, equine-assisted learning, and life skills education. (formerly NARHA).

A place where volunteers and horses make the difference. Located on 10 beautiful wooded acres between Magnolia and Tomball, JoyRide Center uses a herd of very special therapy horses and dedicated volunteers to provide therapeutic riding,m and a day habilitation program for our clients. Our mission is to help people with different abilities find more Joy in life through equine-assisted activities and therapies, along with functional/life skills education. Our vision: Believing in the unique abilities within all people, JoyRide Center strives to be a place where the impossible can become I'M POSSIBLE! Client ages range from 6 yrs olds to senior adults. Each client is part of a team which consists of the horse, instructor, and up to 3 volunteers who provide assistance by side walking or leading the horse. Our Therapeutic Riding Instructors are certified by PATH, Intl.

Today we had the joy of welcoming back our amazing founder, Jackie McDonald!

Jackie’s vision sparked the creation of JoyRide Center, a place where healing happens through horses. Her heart and dedication laid the foundation for everything we do today.

Pictured with Jackie are Mary and Leonard Kalfayan, two of our incredible board members and devoted supporters. Their commitment runs deep, not just through leadership but by showing up in person to give their time, care, and heart to the JoyRide community.

🎉🌽A Great Day of Co****le, Community, and So Much Joy🌽🎉

Our 2nd annual Bags for the Barn was one for the books! This year’s event grew in all the best ways with a bigger crowd, new sponsors joining in, and so many of our JoyRide Center clients getting in on the action, this event was a perfect mix of fun, community, and purpose.
