As freezing temperatures are expected in Texas this weekend, we want to ensure our community is prepared to protect our residents, staff, and facility. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we're here to help everyone stay healthy and warm during this cold snap.

**Here are some important tips for our residents and families:**

🏠 **Stay Hydrated** – Cold weather can be deceptive! Even though it's chilly, it's easy to forget to drink enough water indoors. Please remind your loved ones to keep up with their fluid intake throughout the day.

❌ **Limit Outdoor Activities** – We're asking all residents to minimize time outside this weekend. If anyone does venture out, please bundle up with warm layers, hats, and gloves. Staff will be monitoring outdoor areas closely.

🔥 **Check Your Heating Systems** – Our maintenance team has already inspected all heating units throughout the facility. If you notice any issues with warmth in your room or common areas, please let staff know immediately.

⚠️ **Know the Warning Signs** – Watch for signs of cold-related illness, including excessive shivering, confusion, slurred speech, or unusual drowsiness. Report any concerns to our nursing staff right away.

The Christmas Party this year was absolutely amazing! Residents and their families at Memory Lane came together, sharing laughter and heartwarming stories. The festive decorations really set the mood, and the delicious holiday treats filled the air with joy. The music band played classic carols, bringing back memories of Christmas magic. Love and gratitude enveloped all our guests, making our facility feel like one big family!
