The SAU Pre-Heath Club and Pre-Veterinary Club would like to invite all students to come join us in making dog and cat toys for CCAPS this upcoming Wednesday!!! We are also accepting donations of dog and cat food!🐾🐶🩵

We enjoyed having SAU alum, Connor Deloach, yesterday! Connor discussed his experiences at SAU, applying to med school, and experiences so far in medical school with current students.

Join us Monday, March 10 at 5:30 PM in SCI 203 as we host SAU alumni Taylor Waters and Riley Klober. Riley and Taylor are currently attending physician assistant (PA) programs at UAMS and LSU-Shreveport. They’ll be discussing their experiences at SAU, applying to PA programs, and their experiences obtaining shadowing/healthcare experience hours.

All three students have extensive experience prior to attending professional school, shadowing and working at clinics and/or hospitals. These are awesome opportunities for anyone applying to any professional school!

Mr. Stephen Attebery from UAMS South Regional Campus be holding a free online seminar tomorrow (Tuesday, February 18th) “How to Write a Personal Statement” at 5:30 pm and then on March 4th “How to Edit Your Personal Statement” at 5:30 pm. These are going to be presented by Tara Kaprowy, who has been a professional writer for 20 years. This is a great opportunity to learn how to make a personal statement, which most professional programs require for application. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
