Some of what you’re carrying in your body isn’t just yours.
It’s patterns that have been passed down… habits, stress, inflammation, ways of living that took root long before you were here.
You may be tending to what was neglected.
You may be strengthening what was weak.
You may be restoring what slowly changed your genetics, your health, your mind…
over time.
That’s why it feels heavy.
That’s why the process can feel slow.
But remember that healing is both spiritual and physical: “beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2).
Every small, faithful choice matters.
When you nourish your body well,
when you choose rest instead of burnout,
when you calm your mind instead of living in constant stress,
when you hold your tongue instead of yell,
when you hydrate instead of titrate,
when you care for your body as it was designed…
you are stewarding the temple you’ve been given (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

You are not just improving your health.
You are shifting what gets carried forward.
As you age. To your children.
What was once a cycle becomes a turning point. For generations not imagined yet.
You are the place where healing begins.
Because as we are reminded that when we ask in faith and truly believe, healing is not distant … it is promised.

Just because your healing doesn’t look the way you wanted or expected doesn’t mean it hasn’t already begun…
often, God starts the work in ways
we don’t immediately recognize.
Sometimes healing looks like slowing down when you’re used to pushing through.
Sometimes it looks like uncovering root issues instead of quick relief.
Sometimes it feels like discomfort, pruning, or refinement before restoration.
In Isaiah 55:8-9 we learn that His ways are higher than ours.. His process doesn’t always match our expectations,
but it is always purposeful.
Pain can be progress. Purposeful Too

What feels like delay may actually be preparation.
What feels like resistance may be protection.
What feels unfinished may already be in motion.
Healing often begins beneath the surface… quietly, steadily
before it’s ever visible.
Trust that God is working, even today.
Kindly, Dr Hoff
