This scholarship is in honor of our mom, Lois (Gordon) Asher, who continues to show up every day with heart and dedication to helping others.

We’ll be awarding two $250 scholarships to graduating seniors in our community.

With the implementation of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) under the federal 21st Century Cures Act, the way support workers document time and services in home care has changed over the past few years.

EVV is now the primary method used, and accurate, timely documentation is required for billing, compliance, and service verification.

Ayabi Home Care is currently hiring support workers to assist clients in our area:

• 2 clients in the Mahnomen area – 12 hours per week each
• 2 clients in the Ogema/White Earth area – 15 hours per week each
• 1 client in the Naytahwaush area – up to 35 hours per week

Starting wage: $15.80–$17.50 per hour, based on qualifications, program guidelines, and state tier. We offer flexible scheduling, earned safe & sick time, and incentives when available.

Support workers provide assistance with activities of daily living, which may include dressing, grooming, bathing, transfers, and light housekeeping, based on each client’s needs.

Applicants must submit an application, which includes completing required CFSS/PCA online training and testing, pass required state background check (photo and fingerprints), and use Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) to document hours and activities.
